# What is the difference between an Active Campaign and an Inactive Campaign?

Based on your account level, you will be allowed a certain number of Active Campaigns, which you can set on your own each month. You will only be able to perform new actions, such as placing a new order, on Active Campaigns. All other campaigns that are above your campaign limit, will be considered Inactive.
